How does MenuSano compare to a laboratory analysis?

There are two ways to derive a meal’s nutritional facts. The more traditional approach is a chemical analysis performed in a lab where food is incinerated and tested for nutrient content. However, this process’s results are limited to that specific sample; unavoidable variations during preparation or ingredient variations cannot be accounted for. This also requires testing multiple samples to obtain an average, making the process very costly.

The second way is the MenuSano solution. It is done by calculating data from previously chemically tested ingredients and scaling those nutrient values to match the amounts used in the final food product. The USDA, Health Canada, and the UK Government have compiled a database with nutritional information on ingredients commonly found in Canadian, British, and US diets. Not only is MenuSano the more affordable solution, but it is also the more flexible, time-saving, and accurate approach to calculating nutritional facts.
