About Caneggs Canada

Caneggs Canada was founded in 2007 by Sam Dhutia (President & CEO). For over a decade, they’ve produced spray-dried egg white powder for the healthcare, baking, and cosmetics industries in Canada.

Their mission is simple: deliver a modern protein supplement with the traditional benefits of egg whites, designed to be easy to use and store. Every product is made with certified Grade A Canadian eggs, ingredients sourced from local vendors, and a rigorous testing and sorting process before it’s sold.

And they’re not standing still, they’re expanding into new products like protein pancake mix, waffle mix, and hair masks.

The Challenge

How do you iterate on recipes when every label update means sending your formulation to someone else? That was Caneggs Canada’s challenge.

When Caneggs began crafting their recipes, they outsourced nutrition label creation. That meant sharing recipes in full, giving them no control over who had access to their formulas. It also made changes painful: every time they adjusted a recipe, they had to request new nutrition labels again.
